There's a girl i know

Theres a girl i know,

She cries at night,

No one else sees her tears,

No one else knows her fight.

 

The only ones told,

Are the ones who refuse to believe.

She is the only one out there,

Who knows how he did deceive.

 

People still wish to know,

They ask her to explain,

No one did think,

Remembering could cause such pain.

 

And it's her that's left,

To lie to her friends,

Yes she's the one waiting,

Til this heart breaking pain ends.

 

She still wonders,

If there is any hope,

It's such wondering,

That makes her realise she just can't cope.

 

And she still waits,

For someone to save her,

Hold her by the hand,

A dream of life so much happier.

 

And the bruises and cuts,

Are all that's left behind,

Scars on such a young girl,

That no one can find.
