AzureSkyes69
I have just begun reading this book,it mirrors me completely. I have always had trouble hiding my sensitivity and and I am now beginning to understand why I am the way I am..I am so happy I found this book. Has anyone else out there read this and did it help you & how did it help you? who else is a HSP? Thanks
applepie
I've read a bit about HSP and I think I definitely have a lot of the elements, particularly with regard to hearing, smell and taste. I become overwhelmed with these very easily. Of course it hasn't been diagnosed and I haven't read the book, but I thought I'd respond anyway. SquareWheel
Someone suggested this to me on another forum. She sent me a link to a website about it, and I did notice that the description of an HSP touched on a number of idiosyncrasies that I'd always thought were unique to me. Probably most notable was that I tend to be much more deeply and lastingly affected by negative experiences than most people. I found it intriguing. Anyway, for anyone who's interested, here's the website she sent me: link removed

spirits
what i captured from that book is that "it's okay, you're not the only one" But i don't see anything profound in that book other than another perspective in explaining conflicts and such.
