m_darko
I can climb the stairs I can run the block I can take my pills I can stop the clock I’m a crippled Christ that no one seeks I’m the crippled Christ who hits his peeks Not for you or love or life But for victims of death and strife Wax me and loathe me See me, condone me Talk with your wondering eyes I sense your heart, I see your lies I ‘m a crippled Christ that sheds no love I have no father no chair above I see you there, you cannot hide I’m the crippled Christ you don’t abide My eyes bleed like it rains All I see are cheaters, killers, lies and stains You live with a broken heart A crackpot of boredom and distraught It wears me out This crippled Christ is almost gone I hear the same beat, the same tune The same damn song You kill yourself for recognition I’ll kill myself so I can never start All your insides fall to pieces Everyone hates you and your thesis They’re the ones who’ll swing at you You’re the one who is screaming out I’m your crippled Christ… Who can’t hear you shout. EmptySoul
I usually don't like rhyming poetry, but I like this poem. -E.
