When I see it all in front of me and it smiles? When I open the door and see the magic outside? When I fall through my own crap and find openess? I've been offered a million chances Over and over again Why do I keep walking away from you? Like a little prince I'm throwing my toys away When I should be embracing you and mine I should be accepting The truth should be forthcoming And I should stop seeing all this badness We are all human And you aren't anything different or more special Than me But when you open up the light and shine it In my general direction I run and hide behind the sofa.
