Dignity or Advance

hey guys...

man has it been a longgg while since i have posted on enotalone...

well I wrote this poem a long while back and i just want to see what you guys think. I'm no professional, this was just one of those things that came into mind one day..

How can I decide

The fates that lie ahead of mine eyes

That force a choice upon myself

To decide between dignity or advance.

Yes I can make a difference with my new self

But in turn I lose everything about myself

The pride and dignity like a flickering fire

Is dying out with the choice of desire.

 

But I decide to be indifferent and let it go

And the more I reject It, does it becomes less

So I decide to keep my real self

The self I've come to love

And it strikes me that my life is filling up

With honesty, truth, and happiness
