Why do you shout, When you're the only one who hears. Why do you walk away, Watching yourself hide, From the only one no one fears. How do you love, When your hearts been washed ashore. How do you hide, When the only person you're hiding from, Sees through each closed door. Why do you lock yourself away, When your only dream is to be known. Why do you punish yourself, When deep down inside, You never want to be alone. Night after night, Day after day, I watch you fight, The battle that never ceases, The battle that keeps you at bay... I do that, isolate and shut off, when deep down I don't want to be alone, mostly not to get hurt again. Hey it's what happens when you open up. Life is one of the hardest things, dont know what is harder, but your in your mid teens enjoy life like a normal teen go out have fun with friends, dont let your depression control your life.
