i'm getting this feeling that a guy who was into me kinda freaked out when i told him i was into him too, and pulled away. i understand this, because i've done it before. it seems so nice when there's this mutual attraction and then, BAM, someone's like, "uhhhh nevermind i'm scared."

does anyone know what i'm talking about? can that person who's "pulled away" ever come back to you? why does this happen, because it totally sucks!!

I have had this happen to me a few times. I've learned NOT to let a guy know early on if I had strong feelings for him. It is better to wait and see if the guy likes you as much as you like him and tells you first before you tell him.

Guys tend to flee if they find out that you like them more than they like you. Why, I dont know.

I have this one male friend who has persistently pulled away from me in the past. But the second I stopped pushing him, he no longer had the opportunity to react. It was during this "neutral" period that he ultimately realized what his true feelings for me were, and you bet your he came back.

Yea I guess I can relate to that. I had a crush on this guy from 7th to 9th grade, well known as "puppy love". So anyways when he found out I was infatuated (he heard me talking to his sister one day at the cafeteria), he kept ranning away from me every time he saw me.

Then months later, he went on and shows off with sarcastic comments and got to the point of insulting me, then saying he was only joking with me and that he wanted to ask me out. Needless to say I exploded right there and dizz him back.

LOL, what a way to praise a girl, isn't it. What on earth was he thinking, that I would go for that impression, LOL. Only one word did I had the next day "JERK".
