did my friend hurt my chances?

hey the other day my friend told this girl that i like her. well i do. he also asked her out for me. she didnt believe him.(by the way i got this info thro another friend of mine). well i was planning on talking to this girl and telling her that i like her and stuff once school starts. well i was wondering if the fact that my friend asking her 4 me w/o me even telling him to and her not believing it will hurt my chances with her. well please help me soon bye

well whatever. If anything it's an icebreaker. (eh?) You didnt even know your friend did that, you didnt even ask him to! So, I'd just be honest with the girl and see what happens. I don't think it hurts anything. Gives her something to smile about at the very least.
