Anyways yesterday we reconciled, me and dad weren't much on speaking terms and well he started to finally talk to me. And another thing, ok I dunno if this is embarrassing or not, but here goes: How many of you grown-ups (who still have your parent/s) here still say "I love you" to your them??? Just recently (last week I think) after years I told mom that, like two weeks ago but been dying to tell dad that too. Last time I told him, I was 5 or 6. We tell each other off too....but my husband's family - nothing. They just don't say it often. They do stuff for each other and all of that, but they just don't hug or say it a lot.
