A Splintered God [2006]

A mark hit

Sheep at sleep

Babies hold

Wind blowing

Voices keen

Many a body unseen,

In a Childs scream,

A boy’s drink,

A woman walk,

A sun rising,

A day ending,

Such a god in silence tending,

Shadows cats,

Numbers moved

Smells of wood

Books falling,

A soul seeing

Such a lost god no more a being

Stars rushing

Worlds spin

Lights expand

Its all holding

On the path trod

We hold in our lives a splintered god

please post more poetry!

I totally agree SB. I was trying to think of a clever response to his poem but didn't want to be lame and just say, "hey, nice poem" cuz I feel it deserves more than that.

I really liked this one, the premise, the words, the tempo.....

Brilliant
