Moon Goddess Posted April 17, 2006 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Nothing is forever Not a life nor a love Nothing is forever Not a kiss or a gift from above You were my first true love But now I see What they once said to me Nothing lasts forever Not even an eternity Now that one thing is over Another will begin Maybe not as good But as a light so dim I'm glad we can still be friends I wish something more But now I see What a true frienship could be I promise I'll try As hard as I can Not to cry Because in my head I will always know That you loved me And that will show The light to guide me Through my darkness And so it's safe to say Nothing lasts forever But while it's still alive I can never say never P.S. This poem I found in an old notebook I'm not very sure if I wrote it or not but it describes what I am feeling now so I decided to post it.
