JessiS Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 I recently moved from Iowa to Orlando, FL, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for meeting people. I live in kind of an isolated place, and don't know a soul in Florida. I'm finding it really hard to meet friends. I'm really sick of spending every night alone. It doesn't help that my coworkers are all (literally all) 10 years older than I am, and all married and male. I don't like going to the bars alone. I kinda feel stuck and lonely. Alabama Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 What kind of events do you enjoy doing? Go do something that interets you and that helps keep you busy, so you won't be so lonely. Go the gym to workout or just go to have fun. Good luck. Link to comment
