Overwhelming I look at you and I’m overcome At everything for me you’ve done You took me in, protected me And showed me a world I’ve never seen. I feel so safe when I’m in your arms Like you can shield me from all harm I love just spending time with you Because I adore everything you do. I’d seen you around and was completely taken But shrugged off my feelings as being mistaken I was in awe on the night I got with you As though my dreams had finally come true. At night I would lie awake and fantasise About your body, your voice and your incredible eyes I’ve been waiting for someone handsome and smart Someone like you, to overwhelm my heart.
