Short Poem

[From_Now_On]

There's a casual(ness in casuality)

Way to go about (this isn't any easier said than done)

What's been going on (that's left us with nothing happening at all)

I don't know the answer(s to most things)

But I know there is a way (to get past anything)

Where there is a will(ingness to never let this go)

And there's a will in me(aning what you say)

And in the things you do(n't ever give up)

So I know we'll make it through (just because it's us)

You are absolutely, brilliantly creative, FNO... There is simply no other way for me to say that... You would think that after reading so many of your poems and lyrics that I would somehow be able to predict (not the right word, though I cannot find the right one now) some of your work, and yet, I am utterly blown away by the way your mind works each time you come forward with a piece of yourself in writing....

Where there is a will(ingness to never let this go)

 

And there is the crux of it all, aye? Our own willingness to never let go of something, of someone, of...everything and nothing at the same time... We torture ourselves with that willingness to never let go, no matter how much our (meaning people in general, lest anyone get the wrong idea!) hearts break in our relentless perseverance to never ..let.. go......
