I take another toke, Now this world isn't as much of a joke. I probably should stop, But i know won't, Because in two hours I'll light up again. t-rav Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 smoking is like alcohol and sex. just because you can participate in it doesnt make it right even if it is legal. you are replacing an emptiness in you body and mind (normally filled by a hobby or relationship) with an action that will only shorten your life expectancy. give up smoking for one day, and instead of "taking a drag" ask someone how they are doing and take part in a conversation. you would be surprised how great life is when your breath doesnt smell misrible, when your mind is clearer, and when you dont repulse people by a seemingly filthy habit. you have an incredible talent with words. i would encourage you to write more poems about more positive things in life. my grandfather died of smoking (liver cancer) and ive hated him for leaving us. i was in the room when he died. ive never been the same. and i dont think i ever will be. -travis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
