salmonhead_uk
Refreshed You gave me the sun And the moon. You licked the bauble of blood from my fingertip And held the wound out under her luminous glow. I saw my life and my saviour And was healed anew, to start afresh. You licked the bauble of a tear from my cheek And held my face toward the ferocious star. My cheeks dried in its warmth The misery evaporated under your dual gazes And I thought anew, and lived afresh. You licked the bauble of sweat from my brow And soothed my parched vigour with cool darkness. My body was revived in your shadow And I grew anew, and felt afresh. You licked the bauble of fear from my heart And showed me that the day would start again. That the moon had watched over me and now gave way to the sun Though I would never have to give way to another I trusted anew, and began afresh. You gave me the sun And the moon And you were my universe.
I_love_rain_hugs_and_you
If a guy really does love a girl, he will be there to care for her, hold her, and take care of her when she is upset. Even if he does not want to, or he thinks he lacks the strength to do so, he should be there. I think that is what this poem is about. Good poem.
