my heart pounds

blood begins to race

i dont want to hear the verdict

of this chase

 

i close my eyes

and pretend not to fear

but i can hear your breath

i know the words are near

 

you open your lips

in a seductive way

i curl up tight

pretend im hiding away

 

but i know its coming

and i cant make it stop

you shoot me down

with a single shot
