My Dreams of You

 

What would I give, to go back in time,

To love and be loved, when you were mine,

Sometimes I do, in my sleep, in my dreams, damn their sweet,

But when I wake, it hurts inside,

I close my eyes, so as not to cry,

Cause all I want, is to be in that trance,

In my dreams, my only chance.

 

 

 

I wrote that right after I was dumped by my girlfriend in early April. I can say now, that I have moved on, but at the time of writing this, I was very sad. Writing definetely helps in getting through tough times.
