I listened to my song and waited for an answer

Was it late to call for reason?

If only days came simpler

With eah morning came a question,

With each night came a mystery

I write to find an answer,

Yet the faces return blank

To what justice does this soul serve?

To what fee does she owe?

Has life not taken the best of her sense?

Has it not led her to a new road?

Trust called her attention and bled her

worries for futures sure to come

The ink bled her thoughts for confusion,

Yet her dream remained clear,

She'd have to search for courage

To serve her purpose clear

realized that my day dwelled in you,

Your heart awakes my every breath and lifts

my head to visions beyond my dreams

I took one glance at your hands and watched

them lock their love around my callused fingers

I took a journey into your soul in search for your inner child

and found your hidden pains,

and yet I took your words for granted

I watched your lips speak of a love far beyond minds passions

shared between two lovers,

yet I failed to feel your touch

You stretched your comfort only to find me shaking

Do you dare to say I feel no want, no compassion?
