gersanos
Had a question about type. I was out the other night and bumped into a girl I'm friends who was out with her friends. My friend, Jen, comes up to me and says that her friend, Sheri, digs me and said I'm totally her type. Now, I've always wondered what type means. I guess it's because I don't really have a type. Maybe because I don't really know what it means. Anyway, I asked Jen what exactly does type mean, and she said who cares, she thinks you're hot. Is that what type really boils down to? By the way, It's a new thing for me to start hearing "He/She is my type." Link to comment
passions1
"Type" is usually another word for personality or character. Examples would be the outgoing/friendly type, or shy/quiet type. The stereotypical image that a person gives off upon first impression. Link to comment
bexcelant
Type means that if you're her type you passed her physical attraction test and set her bells aringing. Link to comment
GettingOverIt
And, I'd say your body has something to do with it too... Some people are only attracted to those who are physically fit, while others are attracted to folks who aren't so fit... There are also things like hair color and/or style, clothing likes and dislikes, etc... I know some of this sounds superficial, but it all goes into the impression one gets... If you like women who wear black shirts, black pants, black lipstick, etc.. then that would be your 'type.' You may not have a 'type' in that you find yourself attracted to women of varying 'styles'... Beauty is in the eye, and all... Link to comment
Day_Walker
Type can be anything about you; personality, your body (or parts of it), skin color, hair texture, etc. What it seems to mean in this situation is that from the looks of you she is interested in talking to you. Link to comment
DN
Anyway, I asked Jen what exactly does type mean, and she said who cares, she thinks you're hot. " Jen has a good point - if she thinks you are hot and you like her - ask her out and find out first hand if she is your 'type'. Link to comment
