He doesn’t act creepy to her. I would think it worse if he didn’t ask to see her (because I certainly never bring it up) and just acted like she didn’t exist

He is a creepy person in general. Children need their parents to keep people like him out of their lives. Your daughter needs a mom who models healthy relationships skills and sound judgement. 

There's no reason for someone you are not seriously dating with a high chance of engagement/marriage, etc to get to meet your daughter other than by accident.  He can't date you or get serious with you as he is a married person.
