thatguy04
Are you leaving me in this dark cold night? I stand beside you in the shroud of rain, As I wait for tomorrow's mourning light. The dark sky hangs above our endless plight. Below I stay, within I hold the pain. Are you leaving me in this dark cold night? I wait and wait for anything that's right. I stand beside your side, as if in vain, As I wait for tomorrow's mourning light. I pray to our God with all of my might: Will she come back to me? What can I gain? Are you leaving me in this dark cold night? I try my best; I stand with all my height. My back straight, my spine an old walking cane, As I wait for tomorrow's mourning light. In this casket you remain sleeping tight Inside you have stayed, cold, motionless; slain. Are you leaving me in this dark cold night? As I wait for tomorrow's mourning light.
