itsallgrand
Yes, I realize it is early yet. Hearing about how everyone celebrates may get others in the mood and it makes me happy, so please share! It can be anything that means something to you. Making Christmas truffles has become a new tradition over the past few years.
Coily
With the exception of this year (i am hardly going to be home to enjoy the decorations)... I put up a little faux tree in my living room Trim the Holly and Ivy to make wreaths or put around door ways Decorate the trees and hedges Make Wassail Prepare 1 or 2 holiday meals Play old traditional English and German Carols. And lastly bring out the oil lamps and candles and turn everything off but the tree. 90% of the time I'm the only one who sees this.
itsallgrand
Thanks guys! My holiday spirit is kicking in now. We have a tree up, decorations, started some shopping . Going to bake some cookies and treats . Have my work Christmas dinner tomorrow, which I always enjoy. I love seeing all the lights, snowmen and forts being built in the neighbourhood. I even love the mall at this time of year ( don't usually). Usually I'd watch a Christmas carol ( alistair sims one) with my mom. I listened to the audiobook of a Christmas carol the other night instead, while at home alone and sorting through things. I may watch it yet. Also love a Christmas story - usually watch that with my bro. I always do some community involvement this time of year, but have been stuck on what to do. It will come to me, the thing that catches my heart.
