Hope that you are happy just like I pretend, Patching up my heart that is ready to mend. Dont do this anymore I dont want to play a game, I am looking within myself and noone is to blame. Look into my eyes I am fighting with everthing I got, Dont stick another quarter in my weak willed slot. Dont tell me no more lies the truth is what I feel, That all the things you told me just were so unreal. If you look at me you will be looking at me from behind, I will not allow you to come back try to rewind. The screams I hear within are being taken over by peace, All this pain that was caused will soon start to release. Oneday you will realize what kind of person I was to you, But hey I only helped you by letting you do the things you do. It shows that you've accepted what happened to you and you won't let it interfere with what you are trying to accomplish now. You took their best shot and your still standing. That they can't hurt you anymore. The amazing part is that you have nothing negative to say about the person that hurt you. That is some strength. Absolutely outstanding poem.
