Movie recommendations?

So I didn't see a thread that spoke about movies and I wanted to post one asking if there is any great movies anyone could recommend to watch. From black in white to color. Classics to b movies. And no matter the language or country....and no matter the genre

What would you suggest to watch

I'll just list the ones I've seen recently that I loved, because otherwise I could fill the room with recommendations. But here goes.

For in theater: Deadpool - did you even have to ask???? And if you're a superhero fanatic this year is the year to grab that popcorn and fly over to your nearest theater every chance you get. For me though it's just Deadpool and Suicide Squad, the rest I'll watch on DVD.

Other great movies:

Trash - do not let the title put you off, this is better than anything else on the list I'm about to give you. Yes, it is that good. You will have no more idea of what's going on than the kids in the film do and you won't find out until they do and then it'll make you sit back and go, "Whoaaaaa!"

The Martian - you would not think watching one man alone stranded on Mars would be a funny, touching, adventure film but it is.

The Long Kiss Goodnight - I watch it once a year, never grow tired of it. Ever. Gina Davis at her best, Thelma and Louise ain't got nothing on Sam the Spy!

The Boondock Saints - NOT the sequel though, just no. But the original? Oh yeah.

Any of the Madagascar movies, if you like kid movies. These are the best of the best. And their spinoff with the Penguins too.

IF revenge/supernatural with a side of gothic love story movies are your thing watch The Crow then look up a little 2015 film on Amazon called "Avenged" It's sort of the female version of the Crow, but a fantastic film simply because the actress in it is phenomenal.

Thale - a dark Norwegian fairytale.

The Equilizer - it's got Denzel Washington kicking butt and taking names, need I say more.

And of course, the list would not be complete without Denzel's fantastic film Training Day in which he plays the opposite of his Equalizer counterpart.

Terminator 1 & 2 of course, don't bother with the others. I groan now every time they come out with a new one.

Ghost Town with Ricky Gervaise and Tia Leone. (I'm sure I spelled those names wrong, sorry)

That caps my list of recent finds and faves plus a couple of old beloved "I will watch you until the DVD wears out then go get a new copy" ones as well. Enjoy!

Some great recommendations. You guys have good taste.

If you haven't seen Snowpiercer yet, you guys have to. Very odd...and very awesome movie. The limited theatrical release and lack of promotion killed it in the box office, but it's a hidden gem that's on HBO a lot (and I think is also still on Netflix).
