Blue_Skirt Posted January 16, 2016 Share Posted January 16, 2016 Well, I haven’t eaten it yet, but I am making pea soup right now, with peas (obviously,lol), potatoes, carrots, celery root and bacon. I cut the potatoes, carrots and celery root in small cubes and keep half of it on the side. Then I cook the peas and half of the vegetables and I mix everything. Then I add the other half of the vegetables and the bacon and let it cook. Add salt and pepper afterwards. Normally I should put leak in it as well, but I didn’t have any so I added two onions. There should be smoked sausage in it as well. But today I did not feel going to the supermarket, so I just made it with what I had. It’s a typical winter soup and I really love it.
