Delaurence23
Her life is a secret She is drifting away from society She has no idea the horrible propriety Her parents have taken away from her She is oblivious Living a world where she feels so happy So warm inside But really the icicles of her life Should be eating her alive Is it my obligation to tell her? Or is it my duty to protect the woman I love The truth should be concealed away in protection For the risk of ruining a sparkly smile is just a sin Yet, against the sin I will refuse my religion And not tell a white lie For this shall disgrace myself irrationally inside The tears and the pain may hurt Her mother has died And I am her only family alive against the horrors of life And all I wish for is her presense by my side
ForAnother
I read it like it was Rap. Keep consistent if you are rhyming (rhyme scheme)... and the end just seems to flow out like you were racing to finish.. but all in all, its ok.
