armasiel
This is one of my old songs from my old band. I have many of them, so i'll post a new one every now and again. TITLE: Elmo's Fire GENRE: Punk Rock ARTIST: Chris of November Rain/Wookie Sandwhich INTRO: I couldn't find a reason why you left me here alone. Basking in the moonlight I guess i'm on my own. If ignorance is bliss then there's something I have missed. It didn't have to be this way. VERSE: The starlit sky was beautiful the night you left me here. The emptiness surrounded me embodied in my fears. A fallen star lay silent consumed by it's dismay. I've searched the bleak horizon and there's nothing left to say. CHORUS: Because you tore me down, you took my life away. Left me on the ground, was there a better way? To make you frown, I never wanted to, and I will not forget you. VERSE: Statues standing tall, never thought that they would fall. Were they the ones you left me here? The fire's burning bright still it's as cold as ice. What happens now? I know i'll miss you. PRE CHORUS: But I know that i'll see you again. This cannot be the end, the flame it can't burn empty. Of all that's said and done, I know i'm not the only one. Well just you wait and see. CHORUS: A fallen star it said to me well don't give up if you can see, a reason you're still here. What happens now is up to you if you believe you'll make it through, you can't afford to break them. BRIDGE: I know that we'll live to see another day, reflections pass right through me, and make me dream of you. I know that I'll live to spend another night, to spend another night alone. -SOLO- OUTRO: A fallen star it said to me what happened it was meant to be, a twist of fate inverting me. What happens next is up to you and there's no reason to be blue, cause you're still here. Time it makes you old, leaves you out in the cold, but that's not a reason to..... ©Christopher moss, 2003. armasiel
Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately all the recordings of my older stuff have either been lost or destroyed, but If you are interested I could re-record a few and send them to you as mp3's. I can also give you written permission to copy, reproduce and distribute any cds you might make to your friends. We can always use a little exposure.
