journeynow
All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey. Aw, bummer, Patrick974. Wish you had my view: rusty-oranges, golds, purplish reds, light greens, deep greens, white trunks of paper birch, topped with a blue sky and violet-tinted clouds. Silverbirch
That there is a town mechanic who is reasonably priced who can fix a lot of things besides cars when they break. I am also grateful to the gardening and maintenance man and his wife who have shown me things here and how to make them work.

faraday
I'm grateful that I live within line of site of the school...i stand there every morning in heavy winter boots in the snow, with my long winter coat layered over my robe, holding my favourite mug filled with hot coffee, as I watch my little "big" girl, run and stop and zig zag all over the sidewalk with her arms out, peeking back over her shoulder to make sure I'm still watching, as she dances the three blocks to crossing guards. That toothless grin. I love her so much sometimes I feel like I'm going to burst.

itsallgrand
Grateful...always grateful for a plenty of food in the house. Not like I know what it is to really go hungry. But know there are people who do. Never really leaves my mind too far. And kids. And in this place where there is so much food and so much generosity. Hate seeing anyone having to have gone hungry.
