evepm
I remember you in your blue suit, three years old with sad brown eyes, blond hair with a cowlick over on eye. Christmas trees, and Santa Claus, rocking horse, red wagon and laugter. I remember that laughter, raucous, a mirror of my own. I remember that last day. You told your wife you wanted to go home. For the life of a child, I remember. ~ On behalf of my mother who wrote this poem for my brother who is no longer with us. ~
