Did you ever go back? Maybe I'm weird, but strip clubs don't do much for me. If you're out drinking with the boys, it can be fun - but it's more about the camaraderie than the women. I never find it that much of a turn on - it feels fake, there's the flashing lights, the ridiculous shoes, too many other people around, etc. My current GF and I went to a strip club a few months ago.
