I Will Not Take For Granted

 

 

I will not take for granted,

The special moments that make me smile,

Nor those who enrich and inspire me,

To savour each moment and walk that extra mile.

 

I will not take for granted,

The purest of pleasures that life offers each day,

Away from the stressful hours of ware and despair,

That disappear when a simple smile is sent my way.

 

I will not take for granted,

The presence of those for whom I so deeply care,

For it's those tender thoughts and loving hugs,

That remind me of the ones who are always there.

 

I will not take for granted,

The strength that the Lord has given to me,

His everlasting presence that guides my journey through until the end,

And that which allowed me to finally fulfill my destiny.
