huskiesfan
The curtain raises in the play of my heart. I sit here watching the stars in the night Watching the shooting stars streak accross the sky And I look up at the stars And I wonder why? I feel like I’m playing the role of the fool In this production And when the play is through Im thrust back to the start. The play’s the thing. And this play of the heart continues on As we go through the acts As I search for a happy ending On this stage of the heart Facing a stone wall That shuts me out in every which way Im left alone To sit under this tree And gaze at the stars. I sit here Stranded in an island of stars Stranded on the stage of my heart Waiting for a day that may never come Hoping for a day that may never come Hoping that that day Will come. But I stay hopeful nonetheless Because life and love is a play And the show must go on.
