Moz Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 Was on of the great Bohemians of the 1940s literary London set, a dandy and a raconteur who was at home in the drinking dens of Soho. A great place ot start with him is Of love and Hunger, a vivid and atmospheric novel which conjures up a world of smoky pubs, prying landlords, unpaid debt and seedy love affairs.
