agburns84 Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 A TIME FOR ROMANCE Emerging from a chance meeting between two like-minded souls, That first smile and meeting of their eyes, The coming together of kindred spirits, at ease with the world, As together they dream of a moonlit walk underneath starry skies. It was not merely her physical presense that aroused his soul, Nor was it solely his appearance that attracted her so, For between them lies an emotional bond that will surely never die, The warmth of first love, a feeling only they shall ever know. Obstacles and boundaries hinder their path from time to time, Yet still their thoughts never cease or stray. As winter nights become cold he closes his eyes and dreams, Of seeing her again tomorrow, a brand new day. Upon that new dawn they begin their journey again, Two hearts united as one, Undeterred by the words of others, the world is their own, Like crystal clear waters lying still underneath the setting sun.
