MY CHRISTMAS

 

My Christmas,

Is a time spent with loved ones,

For the love of giving and caring,

Surrounded by the joys of living and sharing.

 

My Christmas,

Is a time to reflect upon another year passed,

To cherish deeply what is by my side,

And be grateful to those with whom I reside.

 

My Christmas,

Is a time to ponder the road ahead,

To take a look through future’s door,

And anticipate positively whatever may be in store.

 

My Christmas,

Is a time of bright lights and snow covered rooftops,

Of footsteps echoing and candles glowing in the night,

From the village to the town, an ever beautiful sight.

 

My Christmas,

Is a time to remember our children and those in need,

Kind deeds for those who richly deserve some Christmas cheer,

As they smile brightly from ear to ear.

 

My Christmas,

Is a time to celebrate peace and harmony,

Wishing happiness and unity to all the world for the year that follows,

Walking as one in times of both happiness and sorrow.
