thouse
Any suggestions on how to get some? I just feel so tired and sluggish. By the way I do eat pretty healthy. Link to comment
avman
Exercise. 20+ minutes 3 or more times per week. That will boost your overall energy level and increase your metabolism. Link to comment
sidehop
Have you consulted a doctor or a specialist? It's possible you may be lacking certain type of vitamins/nutrition. You could be very healthy and have certain condition that prevent you from feeling well. Are you drinking enough water during the day? Enough sleep? Link to comment

I get plenty of sleep, probably too much, and I drink a lot of water at minimum the 64 oz required but on most day a lot more Link to comment

JeckyllNHyde
i agree with excersize boosting energy. also, do you have bowel movements regularly? this can otherwise make people sluggish if they don't. sometimes if i need energy i will have some green tea too since it contains caffeine. Samedy
I get plenty of sleep, probably too much, and I drink a lot of water at minimum the 64 oz required but on most day a lot more If you are sleeping too much, that could be another contributing factor is your lack of energy. "Less Energy. That’s right. Studies have shown that long sleep is associated with decreased energy. Have you ever noticed that a 10 hour sleep can leave you feeling MORE tired than a 7 hour sleep? Truly restorative sleep comes from sleep QUALITY not quantity. Your body tries to compensate poor quality sleep by extending sleep duration. Good sleep quality comes from good sleep habits and lifestyle habits. Excellent sleep quality will leave you feeling refreshed/energetic after only 6 or 7 hours of sleep." Link to comment
nightlady
I have started a regiment of eating healthy and excercising every day. I have SO much energy its ridiculious! I east lots of fruits and veggies! I used to roll out of bed at 9am, course I need to get kid on the bus, but I'm up at 6:15 and no problems...I still get to bed at 11 though. Link to comment
sidehop
What's too much sleep to you? They say nine hours is too much for most adults. Are you thirsty or just consuming that much water? But of course if you're that tired at night there could be something else that you're overlooking or possibly lacking. If all else I would definitely consult a doctor Link to comment

KiCkiT
-Definitely get quality sleep during the night. 7-8 hours is really all you need. -You should do moderate exercising every day (or at least build up to that) and this will help your energy level a lot! (try not to do it right before bed, however) -Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. This will make it a lot easier for you to get up in the mornings -Eat small, healthy meals at regular intervals (about every 3 hours) to keep your metabolism up and your body happy and awake =) Link to comment
