Need Advice

I really feel that my time has run out in the place I am living now. I really think I need a change and to start over somewhere different but I am not really sure how to go about moving to another state. Any advice on how to go about relocating?

If it was just me, I would just leave, however I have an 8 year old son so I have to have a plan.

I notice you're in Tampa. I'm in Tallahassee and I can tell you that i'm BEYOND ready to move out. I've had my share of Florida. Depending one where to move to is all up to what you want in the area. Suburb, urban, price, safety, etc etc. I would factor in some traits that are most important to you and see what you can find in a search over the internet.
