agburns84 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Many years ago this journey of mine began, My heart knew little of what lay ahead, for there had been no plan, Yet through the passing of time I see you again, like an angel from above, From far away I heard your voice, as I was guided by your love. In the midst of a world dominated by time and space, My soul constantly yearning for a different place, I listened not to the words of the cynics, for little do they see, That our story is just beginning, the love we share is true and free. Though the forces of fate may have dealt us many a blow, At times feeling like we have nowhere to go, Together we took the torch and lit the way for the journey to follow, Laying to rest feelings of fear, and putting aside thoughts of sorrow. And so we shall walk this road together side by side, hand in hand, To a place where our hearts alone can be truly free to live, to understand, The depths of the journey we have travelled so far, like the soaring of a dove, Through rivers and mountains high, guided by your love.
