He still has strong feelings for you and if this has been going on for this long, wouldn't you think he'd get the picture by now?? Obviously he isn't. So I know its a difficult decision but you have to draw the line somewhere!!! Enough is enough already with him!!! HE is being the selfish non-understanding one!! You keep feeding into him too, which he loves also. I would be straight up honest with this even if it hurts. Tell him you need to keep your distance for a while. Give him time to move on and find something else. Otherwise if you don't put a hault to this, it's going to keep on going the way it has been and you'll never have peace with this issue!
