agburns84 Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 THE GARDEN OF LIFE Come let us walk together in this garden so beautiful and bright, Full of colours, radiant and peaceful in the ever present light. Sometimes we’ll need to be wary of piercing thorns or unwanted weeds, But over every new hedge we find, will lie many more a dainty delight. The journey may be long, but soon we will find our way, The summer sun lighting the path ahead as our minds laugh and play, Through fields blossoming with the joys of youth, vivacious and vast, Time is still as we pause to grasp how far we’ve travelled today. Where one of us may stray in our stride, let us simply seek and find another, For we should not allow any such setbacks to hinder or smother, The experiences and delights of a stroll so delicate and divine, Especially not whilst we have the eternal comfort of each other. Though over the hills of tomorrow there may lie obstacles hidden, rich and rife, We must not neglect to recall those moments that made us feel so animated and alive, Of meandering meadows and plentiful pastures, infinite beauty right before our eyes, So come let us see what we shall find, as we walk together through the garden of life.
