RabidRabbit
I wrote this one in February, for a woman I met on myspace. Edna Rose She so seductively slipped into submission On her back, on her brown leather couch wishin’ That a young, fun, eager, meager man would listen As she delivers, be the giver of soliloquies missin’ Even though, keeping low is what she tends to vision, When I trump a high pace, on Myspace on this end. I got a feelin’, she’s been dealin’ in some freaky * * * * and I’m compelled to expel my doubts and go enlist in. Edna Rose is powerful. Edna Rose glistens Edna Rose delivers prose, and poetry when it’s in Its purist form. Its surest storm strikes when the decision Is made when Edna’s heart is on the line, baited for fishin’ For that stimulant, Edna Rose knows only a man can sense in When she slouch on her couch of her living room, hintin’ With seductive eyes coupled with red lip dyes and hands hidden Behind her head, knowing the bed is where it all will end in. © 2008 by -- author name hidden -- (aka RabidRabbit) for Edna Johnson
Daddy Bear
I like this. It's gritty and intelligent and honest all at the same time. Funny, too - I was thinking about the name Edna (it was my grandmother's) yesterday while I was looking up the meaning of another one that I ended up using in the title of a verse of my own. Thank you. The poem was inspired by the picture she sent me.
