thouse
Has anyone been successful at losing weight by increasing their fiber? I am thinking of increasing it to 35g a day.
Crazyaboutdogs
You should not be increasing fiber to lose weight. Losing weight has to do with a balanced diet and not eating huge portions. Increasing fiber is good for healthy eating but just because you will poop more, doesn't mean you will lose weight if you are over-indulging in other things that are fattening. But by increasing your fiber, you will be full longer hence you would not over eat on fattening foods or any food for that matter. Is this a good way to look at it?
