I close my eyes, They cling so close The feathered touch, almost… Cobwebs, Tangling of thought In the avenues of the mind Cobwebs, Looking at you Looking at me Cobwebs… No words spoken. Only unanswered questions Cobwebs Keep building in the mind Of times, that could have been You walk in the the mists of the future I drowned in the shadows of the past Cobwebs aplenty for each you see… You ask why? Simply because it has to be… Tear in your eyes…. My heart breaks, Never meant to cause you this pain.. You don’t understand, and I can’t say why Tears trickle down your face, I brush them away,,, Give me a reason to stay…. Silence… I made a pack you see To go to the devil’s playground Sand is all I’ll see Dancing with the ghosts, Demons, and sand flea’s So you can forget about me… As I will be forgotten in the sands of time Closing my eyes forever, cobwebs… Warm and darkened grave… The cobwebs close my eyes For this is were I will bleed Resting in the shadows now So all can forget about me.. I will be come faceless in the night Just on the fringe…. So I can forget about you. TheFallenShadow Posted June 25, 2007 Author Share Posted June 25, 2007 No, i think my time in the sunlight, as brief and as wonderful as it may have been, has passed me, i have religated myself to the shadows from which i came, turning to the numbness, that way i dont have to feel anything, and within that, there is no joy, but there is no pain either.... for with out her...i truly dont want to feel anything...
