Dear eNotAlone: I'm so overwhelmed right now. I'm not sure what to do, who to talk to, or even where to start. Nothing seems to be going my way. I just don't know what to do. Can someone please help me?

Ask yourself what you can do to make the situation better and what steps you can take to turn the situation around.

Talk to them without judgement and let them know how you're feeling. Listen to their advice and see if anything resonates with you. Remember that you don't have to explore all the options alone - you can always reach out for help and rely on the kindness of others.
Moving forward, you should also think very carefully about who or what might be the source of your problems. Are there any negative thoughts that you should be addressing or are there people or situations that are causing stress? It's essential to work through these feelings and come to terms with how you truly feel. You can't solve any situation as long as its source remains hidden, so take the time to address your issues and make sure to practice self-care - whatever that means to you.
Developing a plan of action can be key to pushing ahead and making positive change. Visualize different paths you can take and pick what feels most natural for you. Once you have a goal in mind, it will be easier to move forward. When taking action, it's important to understand that there will be challenges along the way and oftentimes our plans don't go exactly as we would like them to. The most important thing is to stay focused and remain resilient when tackling these hurdles; don't let any failures stop you from trying again and again until you reach success.
